"yes, dom, I did"

Yes, dom, I did miss you.

But i still have a few rounds left. Don't move.

:P

...

No bit April Foolery here this year, which i hope is not minded. April 1 jokes on the web get old pretty fast, but there are usually some that are pretty amusing.

Things have been quiet around here mostly because i've been slogging my way through two+ years of things that didn't get finished in comics going into Megatokyo volume 6. The good news is that i'm getting there, making progress. Still a lot to do (including finishing this chapter!) but its getting there. Some fun stuff for the book, including this rather nice illustration of Komugiko that i'm pretty happy with.

Can't wait till i am done with this. It's an aggregate weight of a lot of stuff that will be clear off my shoulders when its done. It's a darn nice looking book so far. Even i gotta admit, my art has improved since the last few books.

It's been a while since i ranted, but taking care of two kids (Jack is the easier of the two - his Dad isn't any where near as mature) and running the MegaGear store keeps me busy. As Fred finishes up work on Megatokyo Volume 6, I figured it was a good time to give everyone a heads up about all the exciting stuff we're planning for the rest of the year.

There will be lots of announcements in the next couple of weeks, and one of the best ways to keep up to date on all things Megatokyo is to become a fan of Megatokyo on Facebook.

If you want to be the first to know when Volume 6 will be available for pre-order, get convention news (Fred, Jack and I will be at Anime Central in May), or find out about new products, become a fan. If you're not, you probably missed that the Broken Miho and Pirogoeth posters are now back in stock for the 10 year anniversary for a limited time.

Even with an active two year old we've been finding it convenient to post quick announcements and news to the MT Facebook page, Fred even screenshots of of artwork Fred has been working on. We have some exciting things to announce soon, and i don't want you to have to wait for Fred's long-winded and protracted rants to find out about them.
